“And We Moved Him Out of the Street”: on the Issue of Social Conflicts in Velikii Novgorod During the Swedish Occupation

This article is devoted to the study of the relationship between the Swedes and Novgorod during the Swedish occupation in the early 17th century. The author considers a conflict on Nutnaya Street and concludes that conflicts arised in view of confronting disorder and the desire to preserve the efficiency of a judicial-administrative system.Данная работа посвящена изучению взаимоотношений между шведами и новгородцами в период шведской оккупации в начале XVII в. Автор рассматривает конфликтную ситуацию на Нутной улице и приходит к выводу, что конфликт вызван ввиду противостояния беспорядку и стремлению сохранить работоспособность судебно-административной системы
